13 Feb Second Act Communities sets to open their second Homeless and Disabled Veterans apartments

Virginia Beach, VA — Second Act Communities is knocking on one door at a time. Virginia Beach based not for profit developer, Second Act Communities is in the works of building the Hampton Roads area second ever, disabled and homeless veterans apartment complex. Cypress Landing disabled and homeless Veterans apartments will consist of 44 one-bedroom and 6 two-bedroom apartments. Cypress Landing will also provide case management and coordinate additional supportive services for residents through the local Veterans Administration Center and other area service providers. Any veteran that is low income, disabled and/or homeless meeting the eligibility requirements are able to apply.
This year Second Act Communities will be launching their Open the Door fundraising campaign. This allows the chance for generous givers to “Open A Door” in the facility and donate to furnish the area of their choice. These areas include a one or two bedroom unit, a community room, fitness center, supportive services and a library.
